I am trying to do segmentation of my image, While playing with the image i encounter doing FFT in Image J and deleting the center frequency can give you edge of the cell.
But I am Unable to understand in dept of what I’m seeing in frequency domain there is nice pattern but I couldn’t understand what it is representing.
I am attaching the images which I am analyzing.Original ImageFFT of ImageLine profile from one end to the other.
Feel free to download the image and try it on your own in image J.
Actually if you put a mask at the center and delete the center frequency you will get the edge of the Image.
But is it better than putting Variance Filter instead of FFT?
