I have been asked to check if the Visual C++ Redistributable Package 12 (2013) can be safely removed from web servers and if it does not have any impact.. I am not able to figure out if the application has dependency for VC++ redistributable package? Is there any way we can verify the same without removing the existing components in the server?

I tried searching the code base and various references of the project but could not find any such dependency for VC++. I need to know if this is really needed for my application to function correctlly before trying to proceed with uninstalling the components.
