I’m not a developer, but hired one to build our company website. We need to have a payment processing that is HIPAA and PCI compliant. Our company is based on a commission model (similar to Airbnb Payment structure), so at the time of payment from a client we want to pay our partners automatically while we get our share. Our developer is telling us this can’t be done automatically because we need to be HIPAA complaint and can only be done manually. This does not work for us because when the business grows we can’t handle financial payments manually for multiple partners monthly like he suggested. This would results in late payments and would also be time consuming. We’ve been going back and forth on this issue for a month now. He suggested Stripe but research shows stripe is not HIPAA complaint.

They also can’t do the app version of the website.

Can you please offer suggestions on how we can work around this or should I be finding another development team? Thanks
