File Load Error on Jupyter Notebook: NotJSONError(“Notebook does not appear to be JSON: ””)

Just got a new Mac. Looking to open an ipynb notebook from my Dropbox on Jupyter but keep running into this error saying it is an unreadable notebook. Was able to open these on my old Mac. This might do with me not downloading certain things – any ideas? Also, any alt platforms I can view an ipynb on?

I’ve downloaded Java via Oracle’s site, downloaded Anaconda Navigator, IDLE/Python Launcher. Still running into same error.
