I am new to Matlab – 1 day. I have a script that calls, in a loop, a function that in turn generates a figure from data stored in a file when the file changes. For some reason that I don’t understand, while the script is running, the datatip can only be displayed if you click on the data, but not when you hover. After the script finishes, the datatips are displayed when you hover. I am not allowed to show the code, but it just loads the data and put it on a scatter graph; nothing fancy. How can I make the datatips display when hovering over data and the script is running?
