I would like to become the owner of an existing website. This is a wordpress website. The previous owner has given me the database in .gz format, the wordpress files and they made me the owner of the domain name.

In my ovh portal I created a database and imported the .gz file. It works and the table of this database are starting with “wp_”.
I used the “one-click module” of ovh to create a wordpress module and linked it with the database. The problem is the table prefix are set to “wor7113” in wp_config.php

 * WordPress Database Table prefix.
 * You can have multiple installations in one database if you give each
 * a unique prefix. Only numbers, letters, and underscores please!
$table_prefix  = 'wor7113_';

Changing it manually gives me the error “error during the connection with the database” when I try to access any pages of the website.

What am I doing wrong ? Can I use the old database or do I have to merge it into a new one with the newer table prefix ?

I thought that changing the prefix table manually in the wp_config.php file would fix the problem.
