Just moved the contents of this site to a new URL. The users are reporting random connection errors. In troubleshooting, we can force an error by: 1. starting a new session incognito in firefox; 2. entering the url with a www prefix. Then, the server creates a connection error screen for a few seconds, then the site comes up normally. When this happens, I can see in inspector network tab, that a 301 is generated. The dns records have a wwww cname directng to the main site, so I don’t understand why the 301. If we can figure out this cause, then maybe that will lead to solving the user errors.
