ssh: Could not resolve hostname myserver: Temporary failure in name resolution
I am studying MIT’s missing-semester course, in which lecture 4: Data wrecking requires me to query my server logs. When I type ssh myserver journalctl
in WSL2, ubuntu22.04 environment, it reports the error ssh: Could not resolve hostname myserver: Temporary failure in name resolution
.
Can’t open Ubuntu without admin rights
I was previously using wsl2 on windows 10 22H2. After having some issues with my environment, I wanted to install everything again from scratch.
But now, I’m unable to proceed with Ubuntu installation.
WSL Ubuntu Terminal Access Issues After Moving to D: Drive
I have Ubuntu installed on my Windows 10 as a WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux). Since it was installed by default on the C: drive and I don’t have enough storage space there, I wanted to transfer my WSL to the D: drive, which has more free space. I used the following commands on cmd:
Can’t launch Google Chrome on wsl ubuntu
I have successfully installed google-chrome on my wsl ubuntu shell from this website – https://medium.com/@factor-bytes/running-google-chrome-on-wsl-with-ubuntu-005cc8d719c2.
But when i launch it, the following error(s) are thrown. Its been only 4-5 days of me shifting to ubuntu and I don’t know what it means.
I cant sudo apt upgrade or install on my Ubuntu WSL machine
