I found a lot online about customizing the layout of Spyder panes, including this. However, they all have to do with shifting pane boundaries or undocking. I don’t want undocked panes and neither do I just want to shift pane boundaries. Here is what I want to change:

I am using Spyder 5.4.3. Is there any way to disable the confirmation dialogue box when I remove a variable from the Variable Explorer? I can disable the confirmation when removing all variables, so I would have expected that I could do the same for the much less dangerous removal of individual variables.

I am using Spyder, installed via Anaconda on Windows 10.

I’m using Spyder for a React project. The problem is that .tsx and .jsx files are not syntax-highlighted, and I don’t know how to turn that on.

In Spyder ide, can’t find ‘Files’ pane in top right hand corner (Next to Variable Explorer).
