I am unable to download some packages (eg: tidyverse & many more packages that are available otherwise on the desktop version in R) in my R studio server account. Is this a common problem faced when working on R studio server or is there a way out to fix the same?

Here’s my coding:

I am very new to R Studio, but I have noticed that code runs a lot faster on my laptop and on a highly optioned cloud server. On the server there are more cores, more memory and faster storage. Both my laptop and the server run Linux. Neither has been optimised for R Studio. This behaviour is consistent regardless of Docker containers for R Studio cloud or direct installs. I am guessing that I am missing something – just not sure what! Ideally I would prefer to use the server.
