I have a table called Parts that contains a list of mechanical items, with columns like serial number and description. I am displaying the data as a matrix visual and I have a slicer on serial number. By default, some of these items should not be displayed because in most use cases they are not relevant, which I can do by filtering with the column DefaultExclusion = FALSE.

I have created a calendar using a matrix, and I added the ability to show or hide the calendar in the report through a bookmark. The issue I’m facing is that when the user opens the calendar and selects a date, the filter is applied correctly. However, after closing the calendar, the filter is removed, and the report displays data for all days of that month again.

I am trying to return a percentage change on spend for when I drill into different levels of my date hierarchy called CLM_THRU_DT. It is not returning a value or error at the moment, just a blank column or measure.

I’m using PowerBi (desktop version). I have a table with a list 102 library names and an index column, like so:

We have an excel containing a list of products and their stocks supply. Suppose a customer places an order for product A, but product A happens to be out of stock. Maintained in the excel are alternate products to product A, such as product B, product C, etc.
Can a power bi solution be implemented
to automate this, and if so, how?
