I followed this tutorial (https://computingforgeeks.com/how-to-install-ocs-inventory-server-on-ubuntu/) to install OCS to try and learn from it. Alas, I stumbled upon a problem, when reaching for the /ocsreports/install.php and entering the creds I configured in dbconfig.inc.php and z-ocsinventory-server.conf, I have a message: “The user you typed does not seem to be root”. Can anyone please send me in the right direction?
VM is a Ubuntu 24.04 Server
Apache/2.4.58(Ubuntu)
PHP 8.3.6
PERL 5.38.2
MariaDB 10.11.8
I already installed and configured GLPI as a Virtual host, with a self-signed cert, it’s working (GLPI router on glpi.conf)
