We are trying to upgrade our OS from RHEL 7.9 to RHEL 8.9. However in the dev environment the Leap utility completely removed postgres. Our OS administrator says the problem is that we have not installed postgress from RHEL repository. In production we have a multi node cluster and citus is there. Does anyone have a way to upgrade the OS without touching our postgres environment? Otherwise what is the way to first reinstall citus using the rhel repository. Our /data directory is independent , so I am assuming a new installation would do and we could start citus using the /data as data directory.
