Problem opening links in an external browser on iOS devices Linkedin app
I am writing to you regarding a problem that occurs when using the LinkedIn application on iOS devices. When users open a link to our site within the LinkedIn browser, they encounter difficulties when trying to log in with Google authentication. Namely, the button we implemented on the site so that users could open the page in an external browser does not work as intended. Instead of opening the link in the device’s default browser, the page just refreshes within the LinkedIn app. Users of our site must log in to be able to read content, but the LinkedIn browser does not remember login sessions. As a result, users are forced to re-login every time they access the site, significantly impairing the user experience. Since LinkedIn is our primary marketing platform and we plan to invest significantly in advertising on LinkedIn, it is very important for us to resolve this issue in order to provide the best possible user experience for our audience. I am asking for help and advice on how to enable the proper functioning of opening links in an external browser, as well as how to ensure the preservation of the login session for our users.
