I’m using the command DSPJRN having the parameter OUTPUT(*OUTFILE). One of the output file column is JOESD which contains the specific data for the journal. But the field length is only 100. Is there a way to make it more than 100 so that I don’t need to check one by one for the entries in order to the complete data?

I am submitting a job using SBMJOB into BACKGROUND job queue. Then I can see it running in QBATCH subsystem. In the SBMJOB I tried setting to different job queue but all are still running in QBATCH subsystem. How to change the subsystem it is going to run? I don’t see it as a parameter in SBMJOB command.

I have Question Related to AS400 in a Healthcare setup, I want to Determine a specific system Value have been Changed and By Whom , For suppose a requisition of a lab test CBC is generated by User ABC but after sometime User XYZ reopens it and overwrites the requisition by changing its default value by “0” (un-post) and saved it again. When extracting data from AS400 the first user ABC name showed who generate the requisition but user XYZ who overwrites it doesn’t showed up.

I would like to know, wich command I could use when you do a WRKACTJOB + OPT.7=Display message. It exist a command or script to achieve?
