How can I find all the entries in one Excel file, that contain values from another Excel file?
I have two excel files with over 1000 rows. Both have a key column with an alphanumeric value. I want to find all the rows in Excel A, that contain the key of excel B, but it has to be between the 4th and 9th character.
Extracting info from one sheet to another
I would like to make another sheet in Excel and I need to extract from a big data set information,
I need only few columns (for example – I need ID, name, city and DOB) and also I need to take only the rows that contain John in the name, and the number 5 in their ID. How’d you do that?
Excel List Data Validation – Unable to select values from drop down using mouse
I have been facing a strange issue recently with Excel drop down validation feature where I am unable to select a value from the drop down. I can however use the up/down arrows in the keyboard to select value.
