I am a B.Tech student and was working on a project where I encountered a problem that is already well-known in programming. After reviewing existing solutions, I came up with a new idea and introduced a novel solution. I searched extensively online and found that no one has proposed this particular solution yet. It is a very simple algorithm, and I wrote a program for it, which ran quite well. Now, I want to ask what to do next and how to publish this algorithm.
