I have been tasked with rewriting a desktop application. It will be a relatively simple application that will control an electronic switching instrument. The legacy application was written in VB6. This new application will need to be in C#. I am planning to target the .NET 6 core, since I will have to support operating systems back to Windows 7 SP1.
