When forking an dual-licensed permissive/GPL project, can I drop one of the licenses?
Consider an existing project that is dual-licensed GPL + either MIT or BSD.
Does a BSD-licensed project need a signed statement from each contributor?

I am working on open source project, that uses the source code from FlatAssembler project, which uses following license, based on BSD 2-clause with one additional clause added at the end of the text.

Qt solutions have been re-licensed, can I use the src directly now
I have a commercial application that uses a Qt Solutions component. Until recently, this component was licensed under the LGPL license, so I was forced to use the component in the form of a shared library.
According to this post http://qt.digia.com/Product/Qt-Add-Ons/Qt-Solutions-Archive/, the Qt solutions have been re-licensed with the BSD license reproduced below.
Would a simple attribution satisfy the BSD license’s requirements for reuse or do I need to copy the whole copyright notice?
Would something like This program uses code written by Nathan2055
satisfy the requirements for the BSD license, or do I need to copy out the whole notice? I know it asks that the notice is kept intact, but if I’m only using one file of code it’s a waste to have to copy the entire license into the main copyright file.
