I noticed Azure now suggests an option to change the partition key of a container via portal. It is in a preview state and there are some limitations I noticed in the official documentation But the question for me is how the cost will be calculated if data is migrated to the new destination container. Let’s say I have 5 million documents and the cost of writing them was $1K, should I pay approximately another $1K for migration? I couldn’t find the cost calculation in the document. I wonder if someone has experience with migration directly from the Azure portal.
