Best practices: Ajax and server side scripting with stored procedures

Programming a timeclock in ASP classic and getting some strange results with totals
We converted the time to decimal format and then have it displayed. The data we display is being pulled from mySQL. When we convert a time that is only 5 minutes or less it gives us a result that we know in incorrect. 6 minutes or more and the result is accurate.
Trying to Login to SQL Database Connected to Website
Could really use some help on this one. I am trying to login via a website frontend to view a database built for the site. It was created years ago using a different domain and database name. I thought I updated everything correctly in the asp file to reflect this, but something must be wrong as I get this error:
