I already used internal test and works well but I uploaded new version in store and when I try to install app using link in “Testers” tab. Play store shows me older version.

For context, I’m attempting to trigger a Github actions workflow when the app version on the Google Play Store matches the version I’m interested in. I have not been able to find an API that allows me to query the app’s Play Store version. The closest answers I saw were /a/23505064/2688283 and How to get the app’s latest version from Google play? but those no longer work, since Google recently updated the Play Store app details page.

I developped an android simple auto app to interface my car head unit and my internal home system (garage door …) . I have tested the application with the DHU emulator. After a lot of research I understood that the deployement should go through the google play process to validate the quality of the design (security issue). Is that correct ?

We received a notification from the Google Play Store on August 18th, 2023, stating that we needed to update our target API level by August 31, 2023, to continue releasing updates to our app. Although we were unable to meet this deadline, we are currently working on updating the application and plan to release the update on or before August 2024. We would like to know if there is any chance that our app could be removed from the Google Play Store during this period. Additionally, if we are unable to update the application in time, what steps should we take to keep the existing bundle ID and maintain our customer base?
