I’m working on a luxury transportation booking website.

We have 2 types of trip mode, hourly and point to point.

Hourly method is that the passenger will pay per hour, for example the a passenger booked an SUV for 1 hour for $50, and they pay upfront using their credit card.

In the hourly trip we will have extra charges for extra time. For instance a minute is $0.50. At the end of the trip there was 10 minutes extra time which is $5, what is the best practice to automatically charge the passenger using their credit card at the beginning of the booking?
